About CS-101

This is the first course in a series of programming courses offered at LUMS. Students are introduced to the field of computing and fundamentals of programming. Visual Basic is used as the programming language.

Being the most basic course, this is a university core and would be useful for even those who are not CS/CMPE majors.

Those who have taken A-Level Computing are NOT allowed to register for this course. They may take Problem Solving and Computer Programming (CS-192) or Computer Science Fundamentals (CS-111) to fulfill their university core requirements.

For details refer to the course outline.
